Best parts:
- Victor and Jorge were amazing guides. They went above and beyond to explain Peruvian culture, Inca history , Quechua, and the trek. They always made sure to keep track of everyone and keep the atmosphere positive and encouraging. Victor did a great job juggling everything and still having time to hang out with us and get to know us. One small thing I liked was when we had to wait to cross a bridge behind several other groups and he used the time to explain about te plants all around us.
- the equipment (sleeping pads and tents) were great quality. It was very nice to get duffel bags also.
- Xiomara was great at communication and managing our train tickets
Places to improve:
- Make the 10 soles taxi to the hot springs included in the trek price
- let us know in advance what the expected tips are
- less time for siesta on the first day and more time at the lake !.
