OurGuide licandro was exceptional. We were in a small group of three and Wow what an adventure we had. From the awe inspiring Mountain Peaks of salakanty, spectacular corrie lakes and glaciers to the wonderful rain forest valleys it was culture at its finest. We walked over 50km which can be challenging at times but the swim in the geothermal pools of san Tereasa on Day three made the effort of Day two worth it.
On Day four we arrived at Machu Picchu after an early morning walk along the the river valley catching our first glimpse of the inca site high above us. After a hearty meal and welcome hot shower we cannot wait to visit this world heritage site tomorrow.
I would Recommend this tour to anybody looking for peruvian culture,glaciación at its best and of course to experience the inca tradition. It was an amazing few days that Gary and I will never forget.
