I had a great time on the Inca Trail with the diverse group and the guides!. We started out the trip easy and slow. One of the guides described all the flowers that were Important to the Incas.
We took a nice lunch break and continued our journey to see our first big inca sight. After a little bit more walking we saw a nice an set over the ice capped mountains, had a great Peruvian dinner and went to bed. The second day was probably the hardest. But you will quickly realize you aren't alone. Other groups join the same path to the highest part of the mountain. It is well worth it as the view takes your breath away. After a long day we had a great lunch.
We rested a little bit and ate more food and socialized with our group. The third day was long but not as taxing on the body beautiful passes to another peak that gave away to a beautiful view over the mountains and inca sights. After lunch we packed our backs and walked through a different sub climate where more plants were shown to us. After dinner we headed to bed to have a full nights rest. Easy in the morning we got up, packed our stuff and headed towards the sun gate.
The trail itself is beautiful as you watch the sun rise towards your right. Once we arrived to Machu Picchu you quickly realize how it was all worth it. This was a eat trip and I consider it as a must do!
