The trip began with a hike to the most beautiful glacier covered mountains and ended in a luscious rain forest. Our trip guide was very informative and genuinely caring. My airline lost my luggage and even with last minute notice, the Salkantay staff made sure I had all the gear needed to complete the hike.
The hike went smoothly and coming from the US, it was an amazing cultural experience. Speaking of culture, our personal chef made traditional Peruvian dishes which were nothing short of top notch.
I truly had such a great experiance on this excursion, and I would like to thank all the staff at Inca Trail Reservations for that!.
