Who will be in our group? Who will be our guide? Will the experience live up to my expectations? In this case, all questions were answered with beyond excellent results and our expectations exceeded further than imaginable.
The enormity of the scenery and the usual "wow" factor of the 4 day trek was enhanced significantly by the years of local knowledge and obvious passion of our guide, Paul, and that made all the difference.
On top of everything, the porters' hard work to make the trip as comfortable as possible was unbelievable. Machu Picchu should only be seen when earned in this way and this company's employees really know their shit.
