I hiked the Salkantay 3 day trek with 4th day at Machu Picchu. Carlos and Nemias were great guides and I appreciate their professionalism and hard work. The strike that occurred at Santa Teresa made the trek a bit more difficult than anticipated but was no fault of the company and Carlos made every effort to work around the hardship it caused. I would suggest that during the trek more information on the surrounding area and the significance of the Inca culture would be more appreciated as being from the US I have limited knowledge, so anything provided is much appreciated. Food was great but snacks such as chocolate and nuts and raisins during the day while trekking would be appreciated!
