Salkantay

The trek was exceptional, it was flexible for the novice hiker as well as experienced.

The first day was a nice easy hike to our campsite which ended up being inside a tarp building that protected our tents from the elements. After lunch at the camp site we hiked up the hill to a small lake that came from the glaciers melting from the mountain.

The second day was the hardest day but like I said they gave you options if you didn't want to walk the hard part. We had a horseman for two days that helped with tents set up and carried our bags to locations.

Our chef was the best he made amazing meals that after our long hard days was greatly appreciated. Our guide Raul was extremely knowledgeable about Inca culture and history, and showed a deep love for what he does.

I could not have asked for a better trek.
