Salkantay Trek

Overall the experience was great! Saw several different climates of Peru including mountains, glaciers, and jungle. Victor was our guide and was excellent. Everyone in our group was a lot of fun. Food was as good as can be expected.

The Machu Picchu experience was amazing but probably would have been better doing the Inca Trail instead of the Salkantay. It's ok though, because that's what I signed up for. Bring warm clothes, it gets cold at 3900 m at night!

I did the 4 day instead of the 5 day trek. The hand off to the new guide in Aguas Calientes was not very smooth. Overall an amazing experience though!
