Great trekking experience! The trip was well-planned and they guide gives lots of information in the pre-trip meeting (they tell you exactly what you need to pack, what you'll need each day, etc.) There was more than enough food at each meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) but if you are a hungry hiker, bring extra snacks for the trail.
Be prepared for all types of weather - the trail goes from high altitude mountains (freezing level) down to the cloud forest (80's-ish F). The trek is quoted to be "extremely difficult" on the second day, but if you take your time and have moderate hiking experience, you should be fine. Be sure to bring extra money to tip the crew; they work hard to make sure everything flows smoothly!
