Chat on WhatsAppOur trek was a fantastic adventure, we started with our own group of 3 friends & built new international friendships with the hope that the people who toured with us will share new adventures back in the U.S. We felt exceptionally cared for when my wife became ill with altitude sickness & Simone, our assistant cook visited our tent to make sure she was able to drink her celery tea & he checked back on here progress. When she was unable to make the hike the 2nd day, Alejandro, our horseman, I depends try brought her by horse on a trail to meet the group & when I called out, he connected us. He was exceptionally caring took care of her. Beyond that our meals were Peruvian, well-balanced & incredibly tasty thanks to Simone & Simone. (I hope to try to make a ceviche bean dish at home. Yum!)
Cha-chi is a very professional guide who shares history, humor & athleticism as he supports his team of explores & gives us the freedom to have both fast & slow, curious explorers. We are grateful for his kindness & his energetic spirit. He is a very effective leader who works well with his team of trek supporters while joining new Salkantay Trek explorers as a familia.
