Though challenging at times, with Marco's encouragement and patience, I found the inka trail to be a wonderful way to learn the history and culture of the Inka civilization. The quality of the camping gear was very good and the support staff was soooo accommodating. Our Chasquis were impressive with their ability to carry heavy loads and yet maintain cheerful dispositions! I can't say enough about our guide, Marco, and his professional, yet friendly ability to organize a group of people and teach them about nature, history, and how to enjoy the great outdoors.
