Great trek for those who are more interested in seeing nature and gorgeous scenery than ruins! A bit challenging due to the altitude, but definitely worth the effort.
Our guide, Victor, was attentive, knowledgable and punctual , he made the trek very enjoyable and easy. The cooks prepared delicious meals and woke us up each morning with a steaming cup of coca tea.
The tents were roomy and comfortable, and the campsites were nice. The side trips to the Santa Teresa hot springs and the Zipline are highly recommended - worth every Peruvian soles paid. This trip is a lot of fun - don't skip it!.
