Chat on WhatsAppThe four day Inca trail trek that I just completed will be a memory to last a lifetime. The service, professionalism, and enthusiasm of the Inca Trail Reservations team far exceeded my expectations.
Every aspect of the trip was extremely well planned to the point that all I had to do was worry about getting from A to B each day. One of the biggest (and most pleasant) surprises was the quality of each meal - I was fully prepared for cold cereal and sandwiches, but what we had were carefully prepared hot meals that were often 2 or 3 courses!
The staff was extremely helpful, and their knowledge and encouragement really helped get those of us most affected by altitude through some of the difficult parts of the trail.
The Andean landscape that we traversed was spectacular. I had no idea that we would go so quickly from almost dessert-like conditions to semi-tropical. I didn't know this type of diversity could exist in such a small geographic area. Truly spectacular. But most interesting was learning about the Inca civilization and viewing the ruins.the Peruvian people that still proudly associate themselves with an incredible heritage.
