Fanny handled my reservation from beginning to end. She helped me book flights to and from Cuzco as well as take care of all travel arrangements via bus and train. Hotel accomodations were also expertly arranged!! Very thankful for her expertise! The hike itself was amazing. Our guide was fantastic. He spoke English very well and was able to translate the native Kichwa and Spanish for the group. We were lucky to have a very small group of 4 hikers...all pretty young from 30-40s. Each step of the way, the company was professional. The porters were well-treated and we developed a relationship with them throughout our days. The cook was fantastic! Never will I dread having a campsite cooked meal... our cook was amazing with different types of soups, rice dishes, and eggs, and meats. Everything was delicious..from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Nothing was repeated on the menu!! Morning tea became a ritual that I now look forward to! Each leg of the hike offered beautiful variation of the hike....from rainforest to cold mountain territory to lush green.... there were at least 4 different climates we traveled through. The end leg to Macchu Picchu was incredible!! I highly recommend doing Huayna Picchu as well to complete the trip. Bravo to a very professional company, guide, porters, and cook. The living arrangements in the tents were just fine (and I'm a first time camper!). I'd recommend this company to my friends and family.
