I really enjoyed the Inca Trail trek. It was the first time, I had ever done a trek, so I did not know what to expect. The trek was well planned and organized from the time that I booked the trek. A list of all of the equipment and the information was sent to me before hand which helped a lot.
On the trek, the tour guide was very helpful. He helped me out a during the trek and also the porters helped a great deal with preparing the food and setting up the tent and sleeping bags etc. Apart from the obvious Machu Picchu ruins, the place that I liked the best was Dead Woman´s Pass. Although the walk up to this peak was very difficult, the view from the top was amazing and was well worth the hard work. I would definitely recommend this tour to any one as it was well organized and professional managed.
From the very beginning all of the members of staff were very helpful and assisted me in my every need. Overall, this trek was amazing and if in the future I might consider doing it again (if I can fully recover from one).
