I got on the Inca Trail not really knowing what to expect. We've been picked up early in the morning to start the trail. The following days we have experienced a one time adventure. Accompanied by a caring but also easy going guide we went to our limits climbing the Death Woman's pass, we have passed many astonishing ruins and at the same time have learned a lot about the Inca time.
It was incredible to see with what force and endurance the porters and the cook were working for us ! The food was amazing, better than any before in Peru ! At least we've reached the Intipunku as the first group and so ended the adventure with an amazing view over Machu Picchu.
