Each day on the trail was an incredible adventure. Seeing the inca sites along the way coupled with the incredible views of the Andes was absolutely mesmerizing.
Our guide Ever was fantastic, not only was he knowledgable on inca history but he made sure the trek was fun for everyone. He definitely made it a very close knit group and we all appreciated his friendly personality and felt appreciated by him in return. Couldn't have asked for a better guide.
The porters were amazing and had camp set up for us by the time we got there with a delicious drink waiting for us.
Hats off to santos, our cook, because the food was some of the best food I've had in my 6 weeks here in Peru. Coming up to sun gate on the final day and entering Machu Picchu made all the effort of the previous day's worth it.
Would recommend to anyone.
