Whoa!

This hike was amazing! Our guide, Raul Coronel, was fantastic and fully informed us of each day's agenda so we were prepared for the day.

The food along the way was fantastic and the accommodations improved with each day. I was not expecting things to be as nice as they were! Flushing toilets, solid tents, and good sleeping bags. For the time of year we went, make sure to bring warm clothes for sleeping. There were many opportunities to buy water and snacks, not to worry.

Day 2 was very difficult, but people in our group took horses if they were not able to hike.

I recommend renting/bringing hiking poles if you plan to hike the trail.
