Our guides from Inca Trail Reservations were friendly and knowledgeable about the trek, natural sites and Inca ruins that we passed along the way.
I only wish that the last day we were given tea service or breakfast (I saw many other tour companies provided this) before heading to the last check point to wait 1.5 hours until it opened at 5.30am.
This was a physically demanding journey, but every step is beautiful and the porters and guides take care of you. We were shocked at the quality of meals our cook Raul made for us, which included Happy Hours with snacks and hot drinks, beautifully cooked trout and even a cake with icing!
My biggest piece of advice is that you don{t need to pack many snacks, Inca Trail Reservations will keep you well fed!
