Chat on WhatsAppMy wife and I have had a fantastic four day experience walking the Inca Trail. We met up with our son David who had done it about six weeks previously and raved about it and was so keen he was doing it again with us. The weather started off fine although not hot and sunny it was comfortable to walk.
My wife had trouble walking because of her bad knee so I stuck by her all the way to make sure she completed it ! Our guides Poncho and Anna were fantastic helping her supporting her all the way. The views were fantastic and me being the family photographer got some great shots on the way up. The porters were amazing how they run up and down those hills is beyond us but it was also a motivation for us we were very impressed with their commitment to their jobs.
Each day we were served great food and served with politeness and respect, a cup of coca tea each morning to get us started was a bonus. Our determination the reward of the fantastic views and wonderful company more than made this an experience never to forget.
