It was by far the most challenging hike I had ever been on before, but also the most rewarding. Day two was grueling, but totally worth every ounce of sweat. Making it to the end of the hike was an emotional experience I will never forget.
Our guides, Marko and Paul had an incredible amount of knowledge about not only the area and the ruins but also the history behind the inca's and stories only local guides could know. I could not have asked for better tour guides.
Not only did they know the stories, but they also had an incredible amount of knowledge about the landscape and wildlife and vegetation in the area. It was an experience .
I will never forget.
