Chat on WhatsAppI really don't have enough words of praise for the experience I had over the past four days and three nights.
The Inca Trail Reservations was beyond organized and accommodating to everything we needed for our trek. Our guide Marco was incredible, his knowledge of Machu Picchu and the history of the ruins and the spirit of the mountain was inspiring. He is amazing at what he does and taught us so much of the culture. He motivated us until the end.
Our chasquis's were the kindest and most hardworking men I have ever had the privilege of meeting. Their spirit always kept the moral of the group high - they always had smiles on their faces and greeted us with encouragement. I want to mention their names even if I spell them incorrectly; Paulino, Wilfredo, Santiago, Elajerio and Iban.
Our chef Fabian was a true culinary artist to be able to prepare the meals he did for us three times a day in the middle of the Inca Trail. Each meal was different and included traditional Peruvian food.
Gracias will never seem to be enough for this trip!..
