Chat on WhatsAppThe Machu Picchu adventure was amazing! It started during day one when we got on the bus and met our excellent porters, great guides, and the fun group of people that would be traveling with us.
After a short nap (bus ride) we arrived to the entrance and we're off! I'm not sure we were all prepared mentally or physically but we were going to conquer it either way. When we had our first lunch we were all amazed.
The cook was able to make incredible feasts while being in the middle of the Mountains. Each morning we would wake up to coca tea in our tents and a great breakfast. It didn't stop there as every meal got better and better each time. I think what really made our group special was that we conquered the trail together.
We didn't always hike together but we would often wait for each other to catch up and take a lot of group photos together.
One major highlight was when we played the game "B.S" on our last night. From the bus to reaching Machu Picchu, I will forever have memories of the Inca Trail and our group.
