Braving the cold

This was one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I have done. At so many points during the trip, I wanted to give up. However, I kept going due to view after view of some of the most amazing things I have seen. The Salkantay trail is something that you are going to have to work for if you want conquer it. The people that you meet as well as the bonds you make in such a short time is really something special. My only recommendation would be to come prepared for the cold because it hits you hard.
