I had such an unbelievably awesome time on the inca trail and it is an experience I will never forget!.

It was really easy to book through the Inca Trail Reservations website and you had the option to personalize your trip to whatever you needed, whether that be sleeping bags to rent or an upgraded train for the way back to Cusco. Our guide, Raul, gave us a briefing the night before we were due to start the trail and that was really helpful as we could ask the questions that we had and we could rent sleeping bags, walking poles or porters if needed. The trail itself was absolutely incredible. 4 days of no internet, no emails, no stress, just incredible views and spending time with really great people.

Our group was comprised of 2 Canadians, 2 Uruguayans, a Mexican, a Texan, 2 Dutch and us two from England and over the 4 days of the trek you really get to know all the others and it's a really great experience. You share the highs and the lows together, quite literally. Every day we had amazing food, walked together and learnt about the history of the trail from Raul. On our last night we even had cake made by our fantastic chef and porter Modesto and I can't tell you how good cake tastes after 3 days of hiking.

From start to finish this has been an incredible experience and we were always kept in the loop by Xiomara at Inca Trail Reservations, she booked our flights from Lima to Cusco and let us know when our flight times were changed. Amazing customer service and an amazing trail. Highly, highly recommended.
