Challenge of a lifetime

Incredible adventure, the exact type of challenge that I was looking for.

The trek has a huge range of terrain and temperatures, from scorching heat and mosquitos to sub-zero artic cold and avalanches. Mountains, jungle, rivers, canyons, Salkantay has everything. Second time doing Machu picchu, but this time travelling with my best friend .

Salkantay was an amazing experience, Inca Trail Reservations provided excellent support throughout, with the best guides (Raul and Marcos) that i have ever trekked with.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this trek, with the caveat that it is not suitable for those of feeble constitution or weak mind .
