Coco tea at dawn

My adventure with Inca Trail s was without doubt one of the best experiences I have enjoyed to date. Of course the scenery is breath taking but I was really impressed with the first class organisation of the trek. Everything went so smoothly and nothing seemed too much trouble.

The early morning wake up cup of cocoa tea, the quality of the food, the tents, the transport, the attention to detail, and the trip to the hot springs all made the trek really enjoyable.

There were options available too, like hiring a horse to take me to the highest pass when the altitude got to me, the option for vegetarian food and the shorter or longer routes on the penultimate day.
