If you have any doubts: don\’t. Just do it while you can. It\’s heavy, but all the views of the nature, the mountains and the Inca sites are worth it. The guides give you a background of the Inca culture and their wisdom. The Trail is a challenging hike and you are pretty tired at the end, but the site of Macchu Picchu in the morning in the sun is certainly worth it and amazing. You have to see it with your own eyes.
