Everything involving the trip went very smoothly and exceeded my expectations. I was lucky to be grouped with a fun and diverse set of individuals. Our group name was the Lazy Legs team, however I think we were above average with our pace !
Paul, Martin, and Marco were our guides and they truly made the hike and visiting ruins an incredible time. They were knowledgeable and fully described each site we came across in detail, and the stories added were great as well. They even took time to show us the flora and fauna along the way. Our guides were fun and I couldn't ask for any better ! Our porters and cooks were great also and fed us incredible food for being in the mountains !
The payoff at the end of the hike was the cherry on top. Machu Picchu is a beautiful city in a picturesque location. I recommend everyone visits at least once in their lifetime. You will not regret going on the Inca Trail hike it is the best way to see the site. Don't take the pussy train to Machu Picchu and move those lazy legs ! I recommend going on this trip through Inca Trail Reservations they provide a great experience.
