Downhill – the descent into hell

The trek was existing, exhausting and adventurous. To be true i enjoyed the hike through the Inca Trail more than the actual Machu Pichu site itself.

Specially the moment when we reached the top of the hill and sight there was just spectacular. The food was simple but delicious( though it could just be that I was just really really hungry from the hike :P). The various inca sites specially the one on day 3 the last before the sun gate made the hike worth it.

Our tour guide Marco gave us a lot of info about the various sites which was really interesting to know and he also customized our camp sites based our group's ability to hike and made sure we made it to machu pichu :)
