On 2nd October was the day I began the Inca Trail , I wasn't sure what to expect but I knew how amazing the views would be along our adventure. After meeting our group, guides and porters we all set off for day one, it was an amazing day up and down the mountains, fantastic views and lots of information from our guides about the Incas. The day ended with brilliant, fresh cooked hot meals for us all, tents already set up and everybody being very helpful.
Day two arrived... Well it was the hardest walk/trek I've ever had to do in my life, I found it so hard but I must say having the help of the group and Paul I completed it all in one health ! An amazing challenging day but such beautiful views along the trek.
Day three was a great day, so many amazing views in every step we all took, Paul and Marco always explained lots of information and so many interesting facts of the Inca Trail itself.
Day four, the early wake up call and the excitement had kicked in, all of us were ready to see Machu Picchu and wanted to be there as soon as ! Which I must say Paul made sure of that hurried us all along ! One view a moment none of the group will never forget was the view from the Sun Gate, it was perfect ! We spent the whole day seeing Machu Picchu and having lots of information again from our guides.
To finish off my experience I would like to say a huge thank you to Paul, Marco, the porters and the amazing chefs who always served fresh food which was super tasty everyday. Thank you for making my Inca Trail a perfect experience.
