Chat on WhatsAppThe overall experience from Inca Trail was amazing. From the beginning, the person with whom we corresponded about reservations responded quickly to any and all questions we had. This included hotel rooms for various cities along the way not associated with the trek itself.
Our guides were amazing, as well. I encountered some difficulties along the way, and they were nothing but encouraging throughout the experience. I practically had a private guide most of the way because of an old injury that reappeared, but they made it seem like it was nothing. I was able to go at my own pace, and no one ever made me feel uncomfortable about it. It was also wonderful to have a group of hikers from around the world with which to share the experience.
Finally, the cook was amazing. The fact that such amazing meals could come along the way for four days was wonderful. They were able to adjust to dietary restrictions quite easily, and the plates were frequently cleaned and often added to a second or third time.
I would highly recommend this friendly and supportive staff to guide you along the amazing Incan Trail. However, please be aware that this is more strenuous than you might imagine, but it is worth the effort!
