Chat on WhatsAppI did the Inca Trail and it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Inca Trail Reservations provided the group with two amazing and knowledgeable guides. I have asthma and found the trek a little more difficult than most, but both guides were patient and encouraging which made my experience even better! I never had to worry about lagging behind or holding back the group, because one would always keep me company with encouraging words and great conversation.
I also have to give the biggest shout out to the porters and cooks. They move incredibly quick to get the camp setup and the food cooked to perfection. Not to mention, the food I had on the trek was some of the best food I had had in my entire stay in Peru and it was always plentiful.
The views are also amazing; with beautiful mountain tops, views of lakes and rivers and the ruins. There´s never a lack of history and we were never left hanging when we wanted to know more and see more of the Inca culture. Walking through the Sun Gate at Machu Picchu made the every struggle or doubt I had had about trekking completely worth it. This is not an experience anyone should miss out on!
