The porters seriously amazed me each and everyday. Some of them were in their early 20's and the oldest one was 59. I seriously couldn't believe it ! And he was the one who was always running. They carried three times the weight we did, left after us and always arrived before us. They were always smiling and laughing and that to me is truly inspirational. I 100% believe they have the hardest jobs in the world yet they make it look so easy. They deserve a vacation of a lifetime !
The food was delicious. They even made us a cake on the last night ! No words to describe how amazing this trip was all together. The Inca Trail was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life ! Machu Picchu wouldn't have been the same without going through the trail. I will never forget this.
