In love with Peru

The trek to Machu Picchu was incredible! I was completely mesmerized with Peru! It was my first time to the country. I fell in love with the Andes and the people in Peru. I loved the Salkantay trek, it was a wonderful way to get to Machu Picchu. From the beauty of the mountains, to the knowledge of the local cuisines & produce. Our guide provided us with great information on Peru, and it’s wonders. The trek is a great test of your strength and determination. It makes you feel like you have earned the entrance to the great city of Machu Picchu. I would recommend this trek to anyone who would like to challenge themselves.
