The Inca Trail was definitely a challenge and was hard during some portions of the trail but it was worth every single step. The ruins along the way were very magical and breathtaking. I love the idea that they were very secluded and out in the middle of nowhere surrounded by various plants, wildlife and incredible mountain peeks.
Aside from all the ruins and gorgeous scenery found everywhere, the porters and guides were amazing. Paul and Hilton, our guides, took very good care of the whole group and all the porters. They treated everyone with respect and had a blast doing it. There was never a dull moment with Paul. He is hilarious as well as knowledgeable about the surroundings and the whole Inca world. His stories are also one of a kind. Best time of my life!
