Upon arrival in Cusco Sebastian greeted us and took us to our hotel and quickly linked us with our friends. Raul, our guide on the trail was awesome! From joking during our meals to telling us about the historic sites he continued to make the trip awesome! The scenery was beautiful and we had plenty of time to enjoy each site.
The experience wouldn't have been as wonderful if it wasn't for the porters and the chef. Arriving in the evening to our tents already set up and a drink awaiting made the trip easier. The food that was prepared was well above anything I expected. Each meal was not only several courses but freshly prepared. Upon entering Machu Picchu the energy was high, and as we did throughout the hike, Raul provided great explanations.
