Chat on WhatsAppWow! Where do I start? First off this trip was highly recommended from a friend who did this last year. Setting aside the fact that the trek itself is full of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen, Raul and Ruben were beyond knowledgeable about the trail and history of the Incas which made the trip 100 times more enjoyable.
Might I add that the most impressive memory of the trip was the porters and their amazing strength and quickness which made the trek like a 4 star luxury hike. They were the first people up in the morning and the first to camp and had every set up and waiting.
To say the food was good would be an injustice. The food served each night was absolutely delicious. I wish there was a restaurant that served the food that they prepared. With our tour guides, porters and fellow trekkers, it felt like a big family the whole trip. I'm sad that it's over. This trip will be talked about for decades and recommended to everyone.
