It was a lot of hard work, but It was great. Every body was encouraging and It was a great experience to be with such motivating people. The guides and porters were all very kind and great people to go on this trip with. I wasn't as prepared for the long days as i thought i would be, but that didnt take away from a great experience. The group of hikers were also great to get to know along the way. Our Guide, Abby, was encouraging, supportive, and very knowledgable along the way. The obvious beauty of Machu Picchu was well worth the hike.

We had a wonderful trip from start to finish. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was kind, patient and informative making for a really great time. Juan went out of his way to make sure everyone in our group felt comfortable and we never felt rushed as we explored the Inca Trail.
Of course the trail itself is remarkable, filled with ancient ruins, spectacular vistas and diverse vegetation, but it was made all the better by our great porters who all worked hard to create a home away from home each night. The food was tasty, and the little touches like coca tea in the morning were much appreciated.
The only suggestion I would make, and it's not a major concern, is that an earlier train would be appreciated. Rather than 6:30, I would have been more than happy with a 4:00 train so we did not arrive in Cusco so late.
All and all an amazing trip, my thanks to Juan, Fabian and his team and of course the whole Inca Trail Reservations group.
