The first day was relatively easy, with some uphill, flat and downhill parts. Also saw some beautiful ruins. Our second day was absolutely madness for someone with no experience ! 4 hours steep uphill, man... what a killer mountain. But we made it, and the amazing scenery helped us so much.
After a wet and cold second night, the third day was upon us. Beautiful archaeological sites, combined with steep downhill walking. It was amazing. We were all exhausted, but the reward on the 4th day made our suffering absolutely worth it: Machu Picchu by sunrise... Waaaw.
