I've learned that 5 minutes in Inca Time is actually more like 15-20 minutes. So when Carlos says "uphill for 5 minutes Inca time" expect a bit more. Also, when Carlos says "Oh, today's hike is not like yesterday, it's Inca flat!", that doesn't actually mean the ground is flat. It is more like up, down, flat, up, down, flat. With that being said, I love the way Carlos would sugarcoat things.
His enthusiasm and passion for what he does encouraged everybody and let me reach
limits,I never thought I could. Carlos is the best!. This trek was such an amazing experience! We had a great guide and a great group. We got to see the most break taking views and gained a sense of fulfillment by hiking instead of any other means of transportation.
I definitely recommend this trek! A few words of advice. Bring warm clothes for the nights!! And, that bug spray ain't no joke, bring it!! .
