Las Damas de Marco

The trek to Salkantay pass was incredible and we learned so much from Marco. We had great meals and accommodations the whole time. For future trekkers, i recommend advance notice about travel costs to Hidro Electrico and other costs; maybe a tipping guide for easier budget planning. We loved the option to visit the hot spring on day 3. I wish we could have had the option to visit Machu Picchu later in the day when we were in Aguas Calientes, because we were very tired from waking up at 3am. We love Marco as our new friend and were so happy to learn about life in Peru. We hope to return again for more fun in the future!
