I had an awesome time with Inca Trail Reservations ! I did the 4 day/3 night trek on the Inca Trail . It was an experience of a lifetime. The trail is absolutely beautiful. Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. And the food was excellent! The Inca Trail was hands-down the most beautiful part of Peru we´ve seen. Machu Picchu is as beautiful and majestic as everyone has always said it was. The hike itself, admittedly, can be a little tough in places. I definitely challenged myself carrying my own backpack. In retrospect an extra porter to extra my bag would´ve been an excellent idea. And as beautiful as the scenery is, the bonus on my experience is meeting new friends from all over the world. Our group got along so well! It was totally awesome getting to talk and share our experiences. After all, we were in this together! I highly recommend Inca Trail Reservations to anyone who would like to have this experience. They are highly professional and everything went smoothly!

I think everyone on our trek had an awesome time. We were a group of young people and we were lucky enough to have two young and hip guides who were very knowledgeable. I am interested in plants and ecosystems and my guide was happy to indulge me by providing copious amounts of information about nature at various intervals along the trip. The porters were supermen. I don't know how they were able to accomplish what they did, but they were always at the sites long before we arrived there with tents set up, our belongings ready, and food and tea on the table ready to eat and drink. The weather was slightly problematic as we encountered rain after our arrival at Machu Picchu. That was our own fault as we chose to travel in the rainy season. Rain gear was imperative at Machu Picchu. My only honest complaint would have to be regarding the toilets. I suffered from some type of intestinal distress and found using a hole in the ground to be quite a challenge. Our guides were so patient and offered to take so many pictures of us as a group. There were many occasions when our guide, Anna, had at least ten cameras strung on her arm to take photos for us. We liked them so much that we exchanged personal information and even met up after the trek in Cusco to celebrate. I will confess that it was the hardest thing I have ever done in my whole life. In spite of that I can say that it was well worth it. I hope to keep in contact with all the wonderful friends that I made. One couple even got engaged. It was magical!
