Along the Inca Trail, we were treated to history lessons and traditional Peruvian games (cuy in a box). Every night when we arrived to the camp site from a days 'trekking' the porters had already set up our tents and got tea ready with delicious treats.
How can someone bake a cake in the mountains?! 😮 . The food was fantastic and the evening entertainment out did everyone in the other groups which we saw.
When we booked the trek, it was very last minute and we found Inca Trail Reservations by chance. We have both said that we made a brilliant decision.
Paul and Marco went above and beyond what they needed to with the information they gave us, from Inca history to plants and entertainment to keep the group a familia, they have made our trip better than we imagined.
