Mountaintop Adventure

The trip started with high expectations and I was not disappointed! Every detail was covered by the tour provider.

While the trek was challenging at times, it was stunning the entire way. The history of the Incas only enhanced the magnificence of their structures. My travel buddy and I opted to hike up Huaynapicchu and found the extra hike well worth the added effort. Atop Huaynapicchu, we scaled a few boulders and snagged a few quality pictures of Machu Picchu that are not found on the typical postcards.

Ending a four day hike with a view of Machu Picchu is a fabulous finale!
