So the Salkantay Trek was awesome! I had a blast with my group and enjoyed exploring the wilderness of the Peruvian Andes! This trek should only be taken by an experienced hikers.
Even though I had a great time, I have a few critiques for the Inca Trail Reservations . The first was that the price for reserving ahead of time was extremely more expensive than booking in Cuzco. The second problem was that my group was encouraged not to hike the actual trail we paid to hike on.
Overall this trip was great but the company needs to change some of their practices.
