Chat on WhatsAppThe Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one I will never forget. Day 1 we met with our new "family" for the best 4 days. Everyone in our group was awesome :) a lot of fun spirits. After a nice walk through the terrain. We had the best lunch prepared for us by our hard working porters and chef who would prepare everything on site and then run to the next campsite carrying a crazy 28kg on their backs.
Day 2 I can only describe as one of the toughest days I've ever put down. My legs were like jelly climbing all those steps but once reaching the top was a relief and a bit of an accomplishment. Day 3 was a beautiful hike through the rainforest and visiting the sites. This was my favorite day for hiking.
Day 4 we got up at 3am and beat all the crowd to be first to get to Sun Gate and see Machu Picchu. And it was an award we got after our 4 days hiking. Overall I had an amazing experience and our guides Carlos and Jorge Luis were so friendly and guide us through the days with their knowledge. I highly recommend this trek with Inca Trail Reservations .
