This definitely was the experience of a lifetime. The 4 days and 3 nights treck was exhausting, but so worth it. I personaly wouldn\’t do it a second time, but I strongly recommend it to anyone who is interested. Funny story; 7 of us within our group were nicknamed \” The Running Team\”, since we were literally running down the path on the third day. We aimed to be at Itipata before anyone else, and so did we lol :P Seeing Machu Picchu at sunrise was breath taking! We even got the chance to witness the birth of a baby lama.
