Salkantay

Overall the trek was amazing! We had bad weather the 2nd day, so we were unable to see the actual Salkantay peak which was a bit disappointing but otherwise had a great experience. The final day at Machu Picchu was incredible, and definitely made it worth waking up at 4 am.

Our guide was really friendly, but a bit shy at times and seemed unconfident in his English ability. The food was decent, but portions were a bit small some meals. The equipment we used from the company was so-so. Tents were a bit small, especially for taller people and the sleeping bags were a bit cold.
