Salkantay was sweet

The trek was a lot of fun, interesting and very comfortable overall. Juan Carlos was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and took care of everyone. I would recommend this trek to anyone interested in seeing Machu Picchu as long as they are in good shape. I would also recommend Inca Trail Reservations – Salkantay.org as the best company to do this trek through. The hot springs were also a highlight of the trek, even though the mosquitos ate me alive. Remember to bring your bug spray ! I also love the transitions between different ecosystems from the mountains down into the Andean jungle.
